These are original, unissued, trials pattern slings for the L2A1/A2 Sterling 9mm sub-machine gun. The slings are of virtually the same pattern as the later 'issued' green sling but manufactured from British khaki cotton web material (as for '37 Pattern web equipment). Each sling is stencilled in black 'SLING SMG MK1 CR119A MECO 1956' each is also marked with a broad arrow in red. As shown the slings are all in mint condition but are available only in very limited quantity. Unit of sale 1 sling. Stock No 4/20.
