These are original, US manufacture, carrying handle assemblies for the Browning M1919A6 model machine gun. This carrying handle assembly is also listed for the M1919A4 machine gun. These are in as new, unissued condition, although the wooden grips have been in contact with the storage grease that these were preserved in and so in most cases the grips are oil stained to a greater or lesser extent.
