Produced especially for D.S. Solutions, these are reproduction British Army issue leather slings for the Long Lee series of rifles, also issued for use with the S.M.L.E. Mk1. These slings measure 49 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide and are hand made and finished in a dark 'British Service' brown. Similar to the 1914 Pattern 'Austerity Pattern' leather slings introduced at the start of WW1 to counter the shortage of 1908 Pattern webbing slings, other than the length (1914 Pattern slings were 42-43" long).
