These are unissued No4 Rifle butt plates. Of Canadian manufacture, they are made of steel with a chemically blackened finish. Other than a tiny 'A in C' Canadian Government stamp on some of the butt traps, they are unmarked. Still in the original packing grease these examples are in perfect condition, ideal for cheering up your otherwise perfect No4 with that knocked about butt plate! The butt plates are complete with butt trap and spring but do not come with the 2 screws to attach it to the butt. Stock No 3/24.
