These are the spare parts for the BREN which were carried in the tin in the spare parts wallet. The set consists of a piston post spring, firing pin and spring (the firing pin has the tip ground off so as to comply with UK legislation), extractor, extractor spring and stay and a spare firing pin retaining pin. The items are all original and with the exception of the piston post spring (which are new old stock) are all recovered from BRENs undergoing de-activation. Although these items are all from .303" BRENs, similar parts were carried in the wallet for the 7.62mm LMG and without close examination would pass for the correct items for a 7.62mm spare parts wallet tin.
