These are bundles of 10, original, Australian issue, web slings of the Enfield Rifle Pattern, designed for issue with the L2A1 Heavy Barrel SLR.

The slings are made of stiff olive green canvas webbing with brass ends which are rivetted into place. They are unmarked and undated, and are in new, unissued, condition, although they have been stored in bundles of 10 for a considerable time and outer slings may be slightly grubby from dust settling on them. The slings are 57 inches long tip to tip when laid out. As they are of standard Enfield pattern they will also fit and can be used on Lee Enfield rifles, standard SLR's, Bren Guns etc.
