These are reproduction sniper cheek pieces for the Enfield No4(T) or L42A1 rifle, but these have been cut especially for left handed firers.

Newly produced especially for D.S. Solutions, and modeled from an original item, these cheek pieces are a mirror image of the issued version. The British Army never made these, if you were left handed - as with all things Army - you adapted yourself or just got on with it and suffered the discomfort. We cannot do anything to change the bolt around for left handed firers, but we can at least make sure that you can sight and fire the rifle comfortably! These are hand finished and are made from solid beech wood. Each cheek piece is supplied with a pair each of original specification brass and steel woodscrews for fixing it to the rifle butt.

These are offered 'in the white', that is unstained with no protective finish, ready for whichever colour and finish will match your individual rifle. As these were modeled from an original unfitted cheek piece some minor fitting may be required so that these will fit your rifle perfectly, just as the originals needed to be matched to their individual butts. As with the original cheek pieces the screw holes have been left as drilled and are not countersunk. This job would have been performed by the unit Armourer to match the screws used and the user’s individual preference.
