These are original, US GI Take-Down Tools for the .45" M1911A1 Colt Automatic Pistol.

These small 'L' shaped tools incorporate a flat tipped screwdriver bit at on end and a push pin tool at the other end. Made from steel with a grey Parkerized finish, the exact date of manufacture of these particular tools is unknown, although from the manufacturers logo stamped onto the tools (Stanley' - the same people renown for the Stanley knife), it would seem from the research that we have done that these are of WW2 vintage. Very good condition, probably unissued although with some very minor blemishes from poor storage.
