These are original US GI steel cleaning rods for the .45" ACP Thompson sub machine gun.

The rods are fitted with a steel jag, machined seperately and pinned to the end of the rod, for wrapping cleaning cloth around so as to form a tight fit for cleaning the barrel.

The rods are unmarked or dated and have a grey phosphated finish. Although used they are in very good condition with the majority of the original finish intact.
