These are original British Army issue Armourers Reject Bore Gauges for .38" Pistol Revolvers.

These gauges are typical cylindrical plug gauges and are designed not to enter the muzzle of the bore and not to be accepted into the breech end of the bore for more than 0.10" (to allow for the leed of the rifling).

These gauges are in excellent clean condition with few if any visible marks of deterioration (however, see note below).
