These are original Soviet/Warsaw Pact 2 compartment oil bottles.

Made from tin plate stampings these sturdy oil bottles feature 2 seperate compartments, one for rifle oil the other for solvent. Each compartment is closed by a screw cap. The side of the oil bottle has impressed Cyrillic letters on each compartment for identification by feel if required. There is a flat base on each one so that they will stand upright on a flat surface.

The oil bottles have come straight from stores wrappers, having been slavered in hot grease before being wrapped in brown greaseproof paper. The majority of them are new, however it would appear that some have been previously used and then reissued so some will have minor dings or patches of the bright plating with marks, it also appears that quality control with regard to the plating on new bottles was not always the highest priority! All however are sound and rust free and we have removed the vast majority of the treacle-like grease in which they were entombed!
