These are bolt head catch sets for the No4 Rifles with a Mk1 action. All original spares, mostly new and unissued, the set consists of 4 pieces, the bolt head catch, spring, retaining plate and a screw axis magazine catch (which fixes the retaining plate in place).

These sets will fit Rifles No4 Mk1, Mk 1/2 and Mk2, also Rifle No5 (Jungle Carbine), No7, No8 & No9 as well as both the 7.62mm L39A1 Target Rifle and the L42A1 Sniper Rifle. These are NOT REQUIRED for, and will not fit, Rifles No4 Mk1*, or Mk 1/3, or the few L42A1 Rifles built on Mk1* actions.
