These are original, excellent condition, Mk1 Rear Sights for the Lee Enfield .303" Rifle No5 (Jungle Carbine).

These sights are of the same 'Singer' pattern as the Mk1 Rear Sight for the No4 Rifle, but are graduated in 100 yard increments from 200 - 800 yards. Due to the different ballistics of the No5 from the No4 Rifle the elevation screw and nut are unique to this sight and are not interchangeable with the No4 sight. These sights are physically interchangeable with No4 Rifle Mk1 sights (and vice versa) but the range scales are completely wrong for shooting a No4 Rifle.  These sights are from a variety of makers including those marked only with a 'P' (manufacturer not known might be ROF Poole?) , 'B' (BSA Birmingham or Shirley), F (Fazakerley) or others, including unmarked.
