These are original, very good to new condition, butt plate screws for .303" Rifles No4, No4(T), and 7.62mm L39A1 Target Rifle and L42A1 Sniper Rifle.

The screws are mostly finished in matt black, although there are variations from this. This screw is designed to fit all standard No4 butt plates and is the same for all metal types. Ideal for replacing worn or chewed up butt plate screws or complimenting a new butt plate.

Note; Although these screws will fit SMLE butt plates and will appear the same externally when fitted, they are not correct. The SMLE butt plate screws have a heavier screw thread and so replacing them with No4 screws may require the holes to be plugged or packed to obtain a satisfactory grip when tightened.
