These are original, British Army issue, Pistol Lanyards.

These lanyards are of relatively recent manufacture (probably from the 1990's), when they were issued for use with the Browning High Power pistol (GP35, Hi-Power, L9A1 or Pistol Automatic No2 Mk1 & 1*) and the 1" Signal Pistol No1 Mk5. The design however has changed little - if at all - since prior to WW1, and so would fit and suit all British service issue revolvers fitted with a lanyard loop (with the exception of the S&W 'Victory' Revolver where the loop is designed for the American lanyard).

These lanyards are in new and unissued condition, mostly still in their stores sealed plastic bags.
