These are original Screws, Nosecap, Rear, for SMLE Rifles No1 Mk3 & 3*.

These screws fit through the rear underside of the SMLE nosecap between the bayonet lug and (if present) the piling swivel lug, and through the fore-end woodwork, screwing into the fore-end nut which is let into the wood underneath the barrel. These screws are common to both Mk3 and Mk3* Rifles.

The screws are in excellent unissued condition, although the finish of the screws varies greatly dependant on where and when they were made.
