These are original End Cups for 9mm STEN Machine Carbine Return Springs.

These cups fit over the rear end of the STEN return spring. They keep the spring central withing the body of the gun, prevent the spring end from expanding under load, and the projection on the closed end of the cup provides a location and lock for the end cap of the reciever and for the butt of the weapon. These are made from pressed steel sheet and mostly have a black painted finish. These caps are universal fits for all marks of 9mm STEN. They are refered to in STEN illustrated parts lists as ' Housing, Return Spring'

These are in good to excellent condition with little or no wear to the original finish.
