These are original Magazine Spring & Follower assemblies for the .303" SMLE, Rifle No1 MkIII & III*.

These assemblies are fitted with the No3 Follower (or platform) and are for use with the type 4 magazine, which is the 'standard' SMLE MkIII & III* magazine without the pivoting front corner plate. See picture 2 for the magazine that these are designed to fit. The spring is attached to the follower with 2 small rivets.

These assemblies are in excellent to new condition.
